Bloom wall murals are digitally printed on a high quality non-woven paper which has the following special qualities:
- It’s significantly stronger than normal wallpaper.
- It contains no substances which are harmful to the health or the environment.
- It is biodegradable.
- It can be removed without soaking provided the correct adhesive has been used.
What you´ll need:
- Welcome Pack
- Wallpaper paste & cutter
- A damp sponge
Before you begin:
- Bloom Wall murals are produced in rolls of 46.5cm width. If the image consists of a number of panels, the panels are rolled together on one roll.
- All panels are numbered on the top side. These panels must be used in numerical order from left to right. Normally each consecutive panel is rotated 180º to avoid any difference in the colour shade.
- If the whole height and /or width of the image is not going to be used, we recommend that you determine which part is to be used and where to start beforehand. If possible, roll the panels out on the floor.
1) Prepare the wall
- Make sure the surface is dry, smooth, clean and evenly absorbent.
- Colour variations must be neutralised as they can show through light coloured wallpapers.
- Smooth over any holes, unevenness or rough surfaces.
- Remove any traces of old wallpaper – do not apply on top of already existing wallpaper.
2) Hanging your Bloompaper
- Evenly spread the adhesive OVER THE WALL with a roller and apply the DRY wallcovering.
- The adhesive must be applied to the wall with a width of just over one panel.
- Apply the first panel and smooth out with a rubber roller or spatula to remove any air bubbles.
- Apply all following panels tightly joining them to the previous ones.
- Immediately remove any patches of adhesive with a wet sponge and dab dry.
